Every time you live stream yourself wing suit leaping off the Alps, you run the risk of being that dude whose death makes for excellent YouTube fodder. Every time you date Chris Brown, you're going to get your ass beat. This isn't like meeting a dentist on eHarmony who five Olive Garden dates in decides your sweater is too revealing and throws a haymaker to your temple. This one's on you.
Karrueche Tran, the quasi-model who dated Brown for the better part of three years post Rihanna has sought a restraining order against Brown who she claims continues to stalk and threaten her post long ago breakup. That's weird. Brown seemed like the guy you remain best friends with and chat about your new boyfriend troubles over coffee.
Tran claims that not only has Brown issued recent threats about shooting and killing her, but that over the course of their relationship he was physically abusive and violent toward her. Her restraining order filing states that Brown punched her in the stomach twice and threw her down the stairs. It's less clear on what she did following those incidents, but clearly none of them was to leave.
It remains a mystery why Chris Brown walks the streets a free man. The sum total of his life's work outside of making music women love to get laid to has been anti-social, violent, and super fucking annoying to his neighbors. The courts have bent over backward to make him the one black man who catches huge breaks in the criminal justice system.
Fool me once, shame on you. You date Chris Brown for his money and social status, shame on you. When his current and former girlfriends come in pleading for a restraining order, it's time for a judge to slam the gavel, "Fuck no. You made your bed." Maybe now under Trump.
