Viral Campaign for ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ Kicks Off!

The fifth film in the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Retribution, is set to hit this September. To prepare and tease fans and gaming enthusiasts alike, Sony has launched a viral campaign starting with the creation of the official company website of Umbrella Corporation

The site offers video footage of the fictional company, which is set on hiring new recruits for the firm. But keep your eyes on the site for a few minutes more, because Milla Jovovich's Alice makes a number of appearances warning you that Umbrella Corporation is not what it seems, and therefore, cannot be trusted.

Resident Evil is one of the most popular survival horror games in the gaming world, as it combines action, puzzle sequences, and horror elements in the gameplay. The game series has been awarded with multiple Game of the Year honors and is frequently included in lists counting down the best video games in the industry.

Resident Evil: Retribition stars Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Sienna Guillory, Kevin Durand, Shawn Roberts, Colin Salmon, and Johann Urb, and hits 2D, 3D, and IMAX theaters on September 14th.
