Watch Patrick Stewart Play A Murderous Redneck In “Green Room”

Patrick Stewart is one of the greatest classically trained actors around. If you've never seen him do Shakespeare on stage you've never seen him really act. He's got such a great accent and elevated way of talking. It reminds us Americans how backwoods we really are compared with our British cousins. But in this trailer for Jeremy Saulnier's new movie Green Room, the rolls are reversed and Stewart plays a murderous redneck in rural Oregon. The story tells the tale of a punk band that plays at a club where a massacre happens and the club's owner, played by Stewart, wants them dead too. So, they hide in the green room and have to think quick before Jean-Luc Pickard kills their asses. 

I can't wait to see this. I saw Saulnier's other movie Blue Ruin and this one promises to be as full of violence and humor as that one. Plus, Patrick Stewart talking in a redneck accent delights me.
