Viral Campaign Unlocks Third Trailer for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ (VIDEO)

Over the past few months, information about Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises has slowly trickled through the web. We've got inside information from the movie's cast, the synopsis for the movie, and promo images that are hot off the press.

We still have a couple of months before the theatrical release of the third (and sadly, final) Batman movie. Until then, you can expect more stills and videos promoting the movie to make their way online, starting with this all-new trailer that was unlocked from The Dark Knight Rises viral campaign.

Fans had to scramble and solve clues on the movie's viral site at TheDarkKnightRises.com to uncover screens from the third trailer for the movie.

The Dark Knight Rises hits 2D and IMAX theaters on July 20th and stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The cast is also joined by Oscar winners Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman.
