What Channel is Lifetime Again?

The folks over at Lifetime seem to think that someone does, obviously because they went and made one.

Yep, there's a TV movie of Anna Nicole Smith's life and it will air some late-June Saturday.We were pretty sure we wanted nothing to do with the aptly-named The Anna Nicole Story, until we somewhat accidentally saw the trailer. And then we were kind of into it. Then we kind of watched it a few dozen times.

We got the sense, from those repeated viewings, that the best thing about it will probably be 27 year old bombshell Agnes Bruckner's portrayal of Smith's best assets with her own best assets. It's TV and all, but like, the trailer shows her getting caught making-out with some chick in an elevator, there's all those scenes of her stripping, and then there's those Playboy photo shoots.

Maybe, just maybe, if it's a slow night, that Saturday will be the only time that any of us try to figure out where Lifetime is located. How quickly will we change the channel and erase that knowledge? We'll let the basic cable censors decide that one.

Anna Nicole Smith: High and Pregnant on Video

Unlike most other blogs, Egotastic! isn't the place to find every single update on Anna Nicole Smith's death. Why? Mostly because I don't care. She wasn't that important, and she never did anything particularly special, other than get herself into a lot of trouble.

However, there are moments when writing about Anna Nicole Smith is merited, and this is just such an occasion. Last night on Fox News, Greta Van Susteren aired this video of Anna Nicole with her face painted (poorly) like a clown, and visibly high. The video was shot by Smith's Boyfriend?/Husband?/Lawyer?/I-don't-know-what, and he asks her if she's on a "mushroom trip" and later says this tape would be worth a lot of money. Also, Anna Nicole was pregnant at the time.

This video is Anna Nicole Smith at her best, and worst, and if you ever wanted to get a glimpse at what she's really like, this is it. Stoned, confused, and painted like a fool.

Anna Nicole Smith is Dead

I had literally just got back from a funeral, when I found out that Anna Nicole Smith had died. According to CNN, the former model, actress, and Playboy Playmate was found unconscious in her hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in South Florida. Details are few, and the story is still developing, though some witnesses say she was dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Reality TV star and former model Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead Thursday after being taken to a Florida hospital after being found unconscious in her hotel room, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the case told CNN.

Smith, 39, collapsed at a south Florida hotel and was taken to a local hospital, according to news reports.

TMZ.com had reported that Smith collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2 p.m. ET.

According to reports, Smith was found unresponsive in her hotel room.

After losing her son, giving birth to a daughter, having various paternity claims against the child, and being sued along with her former employer TrimSpa, and going all the way to the Supreme Court over the will of her late husband, Anna Nicole Smith's tumultuous life has come to an end. She was 39 years old.

Hopefully, she can finally rest in peace.

The rumours that Anna Nicole Smith was pregnant started about a month ago, but they have finally been confirmation today, by none other than Anna Nicole Smith herself.

Anna Nicole announced her pregnancy by video on her website, and added a little message:

"Don't believe any of the other rumors. I'll give you
another update really soon. I just wish people wouldn't try to make money off me or get their 15 minutes of fame, but I'm not counting on it. The only other person who talks on my behalf (when I let him) is Howard K. Stern. Kisses!!!!!!!!!!"

So there you have it. One seemingly coked out D-list celebrity. One really noisy dog. And a kid who's gonna be real screwed up.

It's a good thing that Anna Nicole Smith has another chance to inherit her late husband's $1.6 Billion estate, because if the rumours are true, she's gonna have at least one new mouth to feed in a few months. According to Rush & Molloy, Anna Nicole Smith is pregnant, and the father to be is trying to cash in on the situation.

"Anna's freaking out because she got pregnant by this guy, who's now saying, 'I want money and access to the kid,'" an insider tells our Gatecrashing colleague, Ben Widdicombe.

Smith has a 20-year-old son, Daniel, with Billy Smith, whom she married in 1985 and divorced in 1987.

Fueling rumours that she is truly pregnant is the fact that the rarely shy former Playboy model did not stop to take pictures after her Superme Court victory on Monday. And as you can see from these pictures, Anna Nicole Smith really isn't one to pass up a photo op.

Well, let's hope she gets that money for the kids' sake. At least then he can be rich white trash, instead of poor white trash.

I'm not sure if it's because of her "bubbly" personality, or her immense breasts, but Anna Nicole Smith is one step closer to getting her hands on $1.6 Billion of her dead husband's cash, reports Yahoo! News. While not a decisive win for Smith, she now has another chance to argue that she is entitled to the inheritance of oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II, thanks to a ruling made by the United States Supreme Court.

Smith, who married Marshall in 1994 when she was 26 and he was 89, has steadfastly claimed that her husband promised her half of his estate, estimated to be worth more than $1.6 billion at the time of his death in 1995.

However, the TrimSpa spokesmodel's former stepson, E. Pierce Marshall, has maintained that he was his father's sole heir and that Smith was only entitled to $6 million in gifts that she received in 1994.

A state probate court in Texas sided with Marshall, awarding him his father's entire estate, while a federal bankruptcy judge in California ruled in favor of Smith, awarding her $474 million, because of her claims that Marshall had interfered with the inheritance she was supposed to receive.

The amount was later reduced by a federal district judge and then tossed out all together by a federal appeals court, which ruled the court in Texas, where the Marshalls lived, trumped any other jurisdiction.

Not so, according to the Supreme Court, which ruled that the appeals court was wrong and that the federal district court properly asserted jurisdiction over Smith's claims against her stepson.

Now, I'm no lawyer, and I'm definitely no Supreme Court justice, but I think the ruling might have something to do with a few old men imagining they too might one day shuffle off this mortal coil in the bossoms of a woman like Anna Nicole Smith. Also, keep in mind that the Supreme Court only hears a select few cases a year, making this whole story that much more ridiculous.
