Gary Busey On Hobbits

If we were to use the malevolent powers that Satan granted to Egotastic! to reanimate the corpse of J.R.R. Tolkien, this video of Gary Busey explaining hobbits would kill him again. Gary Busey used to be an actor who starred in such films as The Buddy Holly Story and Point Break. Now he's just completely and utterly insane, but in a funny way. As part of a video series in which Busey responds to questions posed by viewers he explains hobbits. Tolkien famously began his classic The Hobbit with a description of The Shire and its tiny hairy-footed denizens. Nowhere in that description does he talk about hobbits catching cockroaches to use in games and as hair accessories. They say that with madness comes insight. Perhaps the Busey read between the lines of the books to the subtext of what a hobbit really is. What with the new The Hobbit films coming out in the next couple of years, Busey's insights can help us better appreciate the story. That or Busey is simply baby eating crazy. Enjoy.
