Some people loved Ridley Scott's return to the Alien franchise. Others, were nonplussed, with the film being met by a mixed-to-positive reception by audiences and critics alike.
But it seems like Scott is a man with a plan and is going to continue to mine this world for further tales as he is already discussing a Prometheus sequel.

Scott had already revealed that he wanted to return to Prometheus for a sequel to the prequel and throughout interviews and promos for the movie, Damon Lindelof, the film's scribe and the Blade Runner director talked about the script's transition.
All will be revealed below the drop but expect to see plenty of spoilers so do take heed of this warning if you havn't seen the movie yet!
