Once again, it was that time of year when celebrities gather to pretend that receiving a bucket of gold-plated popcorn is anything more that just a reason to come out an pimp their new movies. Thankfully, this year's MTV Movie Awards were fairly entertaining, and anytime you have the opportunity to see Paris Hilton get royally burned, well, that's a moment to savour. Big thanks go out to host, Sarah Silverman, for not pulling any punches.

And speaking of Sarah Silverman, she and Jessica Biel sorta, kinda, almost kissed. It was a cruel joke, but it was still damn hot. Make sure you .

2006 MTV Video Music Awards Mega Picture Post

Um, so that sucked monkey balls. Seriously, since when are the Emmy Awards more entertaining (and nipple slippy) than the MTV Music Video Awards. It was painful watching that show. From Jack Black's incredibly lame jokes, to the horendous performances that had me hitting the mute button every five minutes, and the absolutely retarded Britney Spears/Kevin Federline thing, watching this show felt like torture.

There were a few highlights, like OK GO doing a live version of their treadmill dance, Abigail Breslin, the little girl from Little Miss Sunshine (one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time), Sarah Silverman's dig at Paris Hilton (which could have been better), Al Gore bringing the environment back (like Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back), and, um... That's it, actually. This show really sucked. But that live treadmill dance was really cool.

2006 Teen Choice Awards Mega Picture Post

I feel dirty. I watched the 2006 Teen Choice Awards, and I really wish I could get those two hours of my life back. As if the lame speeches, and crap performances weren't enough, every other second was a bombardment of prduct placement and album plugs. If I have to hear another over-produced, under-talented "artist" ever so unsubtly announce when their record is "dropping" (like the piece of shit it is), I swear I'll fly down to Hollywood and mame them.

But as if all that wasn't bad enough, as if watching the youth of today succumb to the incessant dumbing down of pop culture turning their impressionable minds into mush, the producers of that retarded award show had to go and do the unspeakable. They let Kevin Federline perform. Of course, he was as shitty as you'd expect him to be, but for just having to sit through it, I feel like I'm already losing brain cells.

Sure it was my fault, I could have changed the channel, or even turned off the TV, but no, I had to sit and watch. So, yeah, I feel dirty. I feel unclean.

So, even though there were ads on my blog for the past two weeks, and I've been posting about it, I completely forgot that the MTV Movie Awards were on last night. How's that for an attention span!?

Anyway, I'm not too worried about it, because they're going to replay the show every hour, and I also don't care. However, there were some good moments during the show last night, and thanks to YouTube, I can post them all right here on my site. Yay!

2006 MTV Movie Awards Mega Pictures Post

Even though the 2006 MTV Movie Awards air this Thursday, they were held this past Saturday since aparently, MTV isn't much for the whole "live" thing. Not much to report really. No wardrobe mulfunctions, or see-through dresses to speak of, and definitely no Jessica Alba nipple slip like at last year's show.

Still, there were a lot of hotties in attendance, inlcuding host Jessica Alba, of course, along with performer Christina Aguilera, and others like Jessica Simpson, Kate Beckinsale, Eva Mendes, Sandra Bullock, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn and Rosario Dawson. To name just a few.

In fact, there are 268 pictures in the gallery after the jump. That's probably enough to keep you occupied until the show actually airs.

Oh, and Lauren Conrad (LC) from Laguna Beach showed up with skeazeball boyfriend Jason. Grr. Jason.

Jessica Alba To Host the MTV Movie Awards

Well, MTV has just guaranteed themselves a big night in the ratings for their 2006 MTV Movie Awards. Why? Well, if you didn't read the title of this post, it's because Jessica Alba will be hosting the show.

Of course, award shows are always boring, but if there's one that happens to be a little less boring than most of the rest, it's the MTV Movie Awards. Still, if you're expecting to see a Jessica Alba nipple slip like we had last year, well, chances are it won't be happening again, especially with every single camera in the building pointing at her. Then again, if anything did happen, well, there would be no stopping it...

Hell, I'll even settle for something as benign as her almost nipple slip from last week.

Teen Choice Awards Mega Picture Post

So the Teen Choice Awards were held this past weekend (although there weren't as many celebrities as there were at the MTV Movie Awards), and what better way is there to further brainwash kids into thinking they matter, than to give them the power to give out awards. I don't know who won what, since I really don't care. I do have pictures, though. By the way, the one named Brooke Hogan, is actually Hulk Hogan's daughter. Huh.
