Is the Internet turning our brains to mush? With most people turning to the Internet for their every need, it's no surprise that 61% of people have admitted that they're addicted to the Internet.

In denial? Draw up a table on how you spend your day and it'll probably go something like:

6:28 AM - Wake up.

6.33 AM - Check email on iPad while brushing teeth.

6:40 AM - Take a shower.

7:02 AM - Check Facebook while making coffee.

...

Some folks put together an infographic just to show how people are becoming more and more obsessed and reliant on the Interwebs, and it's not good news. Mainly because if we're this bad today, how bad could it get for the kids of the future?

Here are a couple of stats that are especially interesting:

  • Almost 80% of North Americans now use the Internet
  • People check their mail/networks/etc. every 2 minutes!
  • On average, people have 2 or more tabs open at a time
  • This isn't a stat but.. Google has replaced our brains.

Curious? Check out the gallery to see the whole thing!
