It's not shocking to discover that Diane Kruger started her career as a model. She's always looked at home in front of the cameras and I would have to say that she's one of our finest models turned actresses. But like the sirens calling the sailors home—I think that's how that went—Diane can't resist the allure of posing for a photo shoot, like next month's Vogue Germany.
How about this analogy: Modeling is Diane Kruger's bike, and as she climbs atop it for the first time in a long time, she finds herself peddling again as if it were second nature. Something like that. In fact, I like that one better. It's much more flowery and worthy of accompanying Diane's beauty. In fact, that reminds me of a great song for a Jukebox Selects...
I'm not a big Bob Seger fan, but I would rate this as one of his best songs alongside "Turn the Page." It thankfully hasn't been co-opted by a major motor vehicle corporation like so many of his songs have, and it's the perfect "accompaniment" to these pictures, if you catch my drift...
