The ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Trailer is 2x as Long as the Last One and We Still Don’t Know Who B. Batch is Playing (VIDEO)

The Star Trek Into Darkness full-length trailer premiered today and it certainly puts the dark in 'darkness.' Shit looks pretty grim for the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise and the world at large and it all has something to do with Benedict Cumberbatch (or B. Batch) as he will be referred to henceforth. A) Because it sounds good and B) it takes up less room in my headline. We know he's playing a character named John Harrison, but is that just a pseudonym? Is he Khan? Is he someone else? God damn it, J.J.! All I want for Christmas is to know whether or not this movie is about Khan getting his reason for wanting wrath. That and Red Rider BB Gun, of course.

If nothing else the film certainly looks pretty. And while it lacks the wonder and splendor of what Star Trek was originally about, it looks like it'll be the best Star Wars movie we have until Episode VII comes out in 2015. And even if you hate science fiction, I'm sure you won't mind staring at co-stars Alice Eveand Zoe Saldanafor a couple hours.
