Rumors run wild every quarter prior to the launch of a new Apple gadget. It doesn't matter if the allegations are unfounded or have no proof whatsoever attached to them; all it takes is one spark to light the flame, and the word then spreads like wildfire over the Internet community that's just teeming with Apple fanboys (and fangirls.)

While I personally like Apple's series of iProducts like the iPhone and the iPad, I exercise some restraint when it comes to snatching up every new release because the old one I have is still fully functional. However, if you've been holding out on getting the iPhone 4S but have always wanted to get one, then now is the best time as any to make your purchase.

C Spire, which is formerly known as Cellular South, has just announced the new pricing for their iPhones, and let me just say, it's a sweet price. Owning Apple's coveted smartphone doesn't get any cheaper or easier than this.

C Spire is selling the 16-gigabyte model of the black and white iPhone 4S for $149.99, while, the 32- and 64-gigabyte iPhones have price tags of $250 and $350, respectively. These prices come with a two-year contract with the network. This is fifty bucks less than what you'd have to shell out if you got the phone from other operators like AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint.

If you're thinking of taking advantage of the promo, then you might want to check out C Spire's unlimited data plan as well that gets you 500 nationwide call minutes and unlimited text messages for $50 per month.

You can check out C Spire's site for more information.
