Did Anyone, Anyone At All, Ask for Another ‘Biker Mice from Mars’ Video Game?

As I’ve said before, Ego-friends, I was born right at the ass-end of the 80s. I don’t remember anything at all of that fairly craptastic decade, which pretty well qualifies me as a 90s child. Of that era, I could write a freaking book. Spice Girls, Fresh Prince, huge freaking chunky walkmans, Saturday morning cartoons… it’s as vivid as any horrible leisurewear nightmare.

As far as said cartoons are concerned, everyone has their own favorite. There are so many to choose from, all packed with the typical 90s style and/or ‘tude. For me, the ultimate was the most batshit of all: Biker Mice from Mars.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are one thing, but three anthropomorphic tattooed earring-wearing motorsports-loving mice? I don’t know how the hell someone came up with this, but come up with it they did. For the sake of my childhood, I’m freaking glad of it too.

I won’t go into all the BS about Modo, Throttle, Vinnie and their war against the evil Plutarkians. All you need to know is that, after a couple decades, these guys have suddenly reappeared out of no-damn-where, for no damn reason at all, and that’s pretty great in my book.

Biker Mice from Mars: Mars Attack! Has just hit mobile. It’s touted as a prequel to the series, a turn-based strategy game like Advance Wars and Fire Emblem. It’s probably ass, sure, but you should check out the trailer just for nostalgia’s sake.
