Hole-y iPhone 5! What's Wrong With These People?!

So Apple began shipping out the iPhone 5 a couple of days ago, and reports of unhappy customers are already coming in. Some complained about light leaks, others were pretty pissed about scratches being on the phone as they took it out of the box, and even more expressed their disdain about Apple's Maps.

All this would probably give some loaded folks reason enough to shoot the phone, right? I mean, even if they dropped a couple of hundred dollars to buy it, what better way to ~~make a statement~~ ~~show off their coolness~~ waste money by blowing the phone up, right?

Above you'll find one by Tech Assassin, which pits Apple's latest smartphone against a .45 caliber bullet. I think we all know how that one ends. Apple's Not Gonna Be Happy About This

A lot of things are riding on Apple's upcoming iPhone 5. For starters, it's going to show everyone how Apple is being run without Steve Jobs at the helm. It's also going to reveal Apple's master plan on how they're going to battle Android and its rising popularity.

We covered rumors about the device earlier, and they all seem to point to a September 12th release date. Aside from that, you can look forward to a larger screen, flatter form, and faster chip. But is all that enough to win against Samsung's Galaxy SIII? I hear HTC has a top contender in the form of the One X as well.

But while we've still got a few weeks until Apple makes their much-awaited announcement (or not), we've got this leaked iPhone 5 promo video for your viewing pleasure to tide you over. Unfortunately, it's fake, and that's something you'll immediately conclude after watching the first thirty seconds.
