Rocket the Raccoon Speaks in the New ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Trailer

The first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy was spectacular, as were the other teaser trailers we've seen. But up until now, something has been missing, and that something is a talking raccoon. Well friends, that problem has been solved. Rocket speaks!

In the latest trailer, the space-faring rodent makes a few sarcastic comments, lamenting his short lifespan in the face of danger. He also grabs his crotch because that's what bad-ass space raccoons do.

Marvel's latest cinematic adventure stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, an outlaw who must team up with a band of bizarre characters (including the previously mentioned talking raccoon) in order to survive. Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Karen Gillan, Gregg Henry, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker and Vin Diesel also star in the sci-fi adventure, which hits theaters August 1st.
