Twitter was reportedly down for two hours a couple of days ago. Some people were quick to point out that it was the Olympics that caused the micro-blogging site to up and die. It's understandable, considering how people watching the games and waiting for their events to begin are killing their time by tweeting about it. (And boasting of the fact that they're in London!)

But Twitter has since released a statement saying that it was because of some 'data system failure.' So the Olympics might not be enough to bring Twitter down, but here a couple of other events that'll probably cause an outage that'll take longer than two hours to fix!

2014 FIFA World Cup. Sports fans took to the Internet to talk about their favorite teams and players and discuss matches as they occurred live. Expect them to do the same--and maybe even on a more massive scale--this 2014.

Madonna pops out her boob again. Madonna has been doing a lot of crazy stuff lately. Like popping out her boob randomly or insulting politicians on-stage. The next time she pulls a stunt, I say we make #MadonnaRetireNow trend on Twitter. Just to send her a message.

Chris Nolan does a fourth Batman movie. We can dream, right?
