NFL Week One – The AFC in Pictures

Week one of the NFL season finally arrived and it was just glorious. So much good football yesterday, and yes, some not great, but there it was. Non-stop all day and I was glued to my TV. So many story lines to try to keep up with; the Jets and their QB situation, the rookie quarterbacks, the upsets, the players on new teams. It was all there and it didn't disappoint.

And of course the photographers around the country were right on top of everything. Here are some of the best pictures from the all AFC match ups. We'll get to the NFC and interconference as well, don't worry.

The Patriots went to Tennessee and dominated. The Texans manhandled the Dolphins. The Jets destroyed the Bills and their high priced defense that was supposed to put them over the top. The Bills spent all that money and then let the Jets drop 48 on them? Shameful.

Peyton Manning showed his head would stay attached to the rest of his body and didn't look like a guy who missed all of last season. And tonight's games feature four more AFC teams when the Ravens take on the Bengals and the Chargers meet the Raiders. Should be two more good games.
