Lance Armstrong getting stripped of seven Tour de France titles and an Olympic medal (despite passing about 500 drug tests) puts him in the company of some pretty big time athletes.

Someone getting involved in some kind of scandal and having championships, trophies or medals taken away has been going for a long time, and it's not like it's going to stop anytime soon.

As long as there are sports, there will be someone trying to cheat the system to gain an advantage. Sad, but true. So here some other notable folks who got caught in one bad situation or another, and paid the ultimate athletic price. Well, not counting the millions of dollars some still made after the fact, like Reggie Bush and Chris Webber.
