I'm not sure when Reebok became cool again, but apparently they've got enough clout to rope in a big time superstar like Cardi B for their latest ad campaign. It's the kind of thing that has us both confused and aroused, thanks in no small part to how sexy Cardi B has managed to make Reebok athletic wear.
Granted, I'm still not going to buy any of this stuff she's wearing, I don't think it would look good on me, but I'm definitely not as down on Reebok as I was when I woke up this morning. I haven't done a total 180 on them, but Cardi B and her sexy self is helping me to come around on the whole ordeal.
It's definitely not every day that some brand you thought was more or less dead comes back with a great ad campaign to remind you they're still around, so it's a nice surprise to see Cardi B rocking this Reebok stuff. Is it going to make me change my buying habits? Probably not, but it might go some way toward curing my toxic opinion of Reebok, and at the end of the day, isn't that what any company is after?
