Blake Griffin dunking on people isn't exactly breaking news, but this one from last night can be used in Basketball 101 for a couple of reasons. First off, it's just a ridiculous dunk. Griffin hammers it home after Chris Paul missed a short shot on a fast break.
But this was a 'teachable moment' for anyone who wants to know. Griffin does a great job of hustling down on the break and not assuming that Paul was going to make the shot. That's important, and you can see why. Griffin got a rebound, a basket and a nice highlight.
Toronto's Linas Kleiza also learned that he needs to check over his shoulder and be ready to box out any possible opponents heading his way. Otherwise you end up on the wrong side of one of the day's top plays.
