Angry Yakuza and Tetrominos In August’s PS Plus Titles

  Here it is, Ego-gents. The long-awaited sequel to the shit-your-pants successful Games with Gold August 2016. It’s… PS Plus August 2016. 

Xbox and PlayStation are bitter rivals in some respects. It’s long-standing tradition in the industry to drop snarky little insults to other companies, in your commercials and such (Sega does what Nintendon’t). That’s just the way it is around here. The bottom line, though, is that they need each other.

Whose scrote would Itchy be pounding with a hammer without his beloved arch enemy Scratchy? Where would Tom/Jerry be without Tom/Jerry? Point being, where Microsoft go, Sony will follow. On that note, let’s take an ogle at what PlayStation is serving up this coming month.

On PS4, you can download yourself a slice of competitive puzzler Tricky Towers. If you’d rather, there’s also Rebel Galaxy, a deep space-tastic action title with trading and battling. A No Man’s Sky light, I guess.

Down PS3 way, there’s a choice of Yakuza 5 and Retro/Grade, a sidescrolling shooter with a side of time travel. For the three Vita players out there, downloads are Patapon 3 and Ultratron. If any of these tickle your fancy, they’ll be available from August 2.
