I don't know if Kimonos are officially considered cultural appropriation, maybe they have worked their way into the mainstream so that you do not need to be a Japanese Geisha girl to wear the prized, historically relevant, sacred garb.

I will never forget the girl who wore an Asian dress to her graduation, early in this woke culture shift, and I think this is the same thing.
