‘Jack Ryan’ Season 2 Trailer is Full of Walking and Running and Jumping in Place

Unlike nearly everyone else he starred with on The Office, John Krasinski has managed to completely redefine his image since that hit sitcom ended. Just last year he directed and co-starred in the smash hit horror flick A Quiet Place alongside real-life wife Emily Blunt, and became an action hero playing the title role on the Amazon Original Series Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.

For the show's second season, Krasinski is taking a page out of Tom Cruise's playbook by running and jumping across buildings while pursuing perps. As you can tell from this new trailer for the series, he's also got Cruise's proclivity for funny running, which is something that takes time to cultivate. Also along for the ride in this second season is the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Noomi Rapace, along with Abbie Cornish and The Wire's Wendell Pierce, bringing some gravitas along with him.

Krasinski's name is constantly in the mix to play Reed Richards when the Fantastic Four finally join the MCU, so you can expect his star to stay on the rise for the next few years. Honestly, if they cast him as Reed and Emily Blunt as Sue Storm, it'd be awfully difficult to imagine much better casting than that.
