Everything that we've seen to date regarding Solo: A Star Wars Story has pointed toward the film being your standard "assembling a team to pull off a heist" origin story that worked for Rogue One, Ant-Man, and even last summer's Baby Driver. This new TV spot points even harder in that direction, showing us what's likely to be an Ocean's Eleven style flick where Woody Harrelson's character thinks he's George Clooney, but it turns out that Han Solo was Clooney the whole time. Or something.

I'm just showing up for the Chewbacca, honestly. Chewie's my guy, so as long as they don't screw him up, I'll be fine with this whole endeavor. And how do you screw up Chewie, anyhow? Have him get crushed by a moon, maybe? Man, that'd be embarrassing if it happened, wouldn't it? You'd, like, probably want to do away with the entire expanded universe as a result of that one epically stupid decision, right? It sure would be dumb if that were true, which it totally is.

Anywho, Solo's coming in May, and that's exciting. We only had to wait five months for a new Star Wars movie this time around. Can you imagine if they made us wait a whole year for this one?
