‘Batman v Superman’ Director Zach Snyder Called in to a Detroit Sports Talk Radio Show to Defend Aquaman’s Honor

If you would like to have a conversation with Zach Snyder about the upcoming Batman v Superman, it's pretty easy to make that happen. Just move to the city where the movie is currently filming, get a job as a DJ for a local sports talk radio station, and make fun of DC Comics' Aquaman—a.k.a. the lamest member of the Justice League. Zach Snyder will then call your radio show to defend his honor.

This is what happened on Friday morning in Detroit, anyway. A couple of DJs on Detroit's 97.1 The Ticket were making fun of the aforementioned lame DC Comics superhero, so Snyder, who happened to be listening, called in to defend poor old Aquaman...not that he's in the movie or anything. Wink wink. (Hint: he probably is.)

Anyway, here's what Snyder had to say:

You guys were disparaging, a little bit, Aquaman…I don't want to give anything away about the movie or anything like that but Aquaman has some cool abilities. People are like, "Oh what? Does he talk to animals? Cause that seems like what he does. Or fish?" The cool thing with Aquaman is his Trident. So you have to realize that could cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact. That's a thing that's in the canon. He's super strong cause of course he can exist at these super deep depths so when he comes up here he's crazy strong. Anyway, not to say he's in my movie or anything like that but he has the potential to be bad ass, that's all I'm saying.

So there, Aquaman is a badass, and don't you forget it.
