Many Skype users have their panties in a bunch after it was reported that a bug caused instant messages to be delivered to other contacts on their list who were not the intended recipients. The bug also caused messages sent from other people to be sent to random people on the intended recipient's list.

Error reports flooded user forums, and representatives from Skype have since acknowledged the bug:

This issue occurs only when a user's Skype client crashes during a Skype IM session, which may in some cases result in the last IM entered or sent prior to the crash being delivered to a different IM contact after the Skype client is rebooted or logged in as a new user.

That's not very helpful to the people who have already been subjected to shame and ridicule after misfiring messages that can only be judged as inappropriate because of who ended up reading them. Hit the jump to check out four IM exchanges that you wouldn't want to happen to you.

From a soon-to-be single philandering husband to his mistress, wrongly delivered to his wife:

You're way better than my wife.

From an office worker to her colleague, wrongly delivered to their boss:

Mr. [Boss Name] is such a douche! I'd like to see him fall flat on his @#$%^.

From two friends talking about a third friend, wrongly delivered to aforementioned third friend:

I'd really like to give that jerk [third friend's name] a piece of my mind!

From a dude to a female friend as a joke, wrongly delivered to his mom:

I think I just saw your pictures on 'Guess Her Beaver'...
