It’s All Change For ‘Iron Man 3’

It all seems to be Marvel this and Marvel that at the moment in the world of cinema. And that trend is set to continue with the news that Jessica Chastain has dropped out of Iron Man 3 due to scheduling conflicts. But hold no fear as her replacement has already been line up with Rebbeca Hall set to replace the Tree Of Life star.

It's been rumoured that Hall's character will be that of Dr. Maya Hansen, a female scientist who is one of the co-creators of the Extremis virus that has the capability to destroy Tony Stark's rather impressive suit of iron.

Chastain took to the rather novel form of breaking this news through her Facebook page stating that she is "Sorry to say that Iron Man 3 isn't going to work out. My schedule is jammed packed and I can't fit anything else in. The press announced my possible attachment far too soon. I know many of you wanted me to be involved, and I'm sorry to disappoint you." Isn't that nice.

She went on to add that she hopes another Marvel film will be in her future and that she can't wait to see what Shane Black and his crew create. Neither can we love, neither can we.

Hall is added to a stellar line-up that includes Robert Downey Jnr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce and Ben Kingsley and the film promises to be one of the hits of 2013.
