Inception blew the minds of most people who watched it in the theater. It made members of the audience disoriented by the time the credits rolled, because a few thoughts had managed to creep their way into their heads: What if they were just dreaming? What if they had been watching the movie in their dreams and were part of some elaborate plot to take over the world?

Of course, none of us who were watching that movie was dreaming, although it made doing normal stuff seem pretty surreal afterwards. And in an attempt to make people feel as if they were losing their grip on reality (although on a smaller scale), the iPhoneception project was born.

Henry Kuo is the brains behind the operation, the counterpart to Leonardo DiCaprio's character in the movie. What Henry did was write up some fancy code that used HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to come up with an iPhone interface called iPhoneception that people can access over the web to prank anyone who owns an iPhone.

So here's how it works: just grab your victim's iPhone, log on to iPhoneception's website, and choose your desired effect: Explosion, which makes app icons spontaneously combust; Gravity, which makes all the icons fall into a messy pile on the home screen; Kittens, which will turn all the icons into (no duh!) kittens; and Zombie, which will summon a creepy undead ghoul on the screen.

Clicking on the desired effect will add it to the home screen, so what you should do next is launch it and lock the device. After that, there's nothing left to do but sit back and wait for the action to happen...

Disclaimer: Prank people at your own discretion. We are in no way liable for any injuries that you might sustain from furious iPhone owners who didn't find the fact that you iPhoneceptioned their device amusing. Enjoy!
