“Manos: The Hands Of Fate” Is Getting A Sequel

I was a big fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 when I was in high school. Many a night was spent with my friends watching VHS tapes we recorded off of the TV. One of the best episodes involved the MST3K gang watching Manos: The Hands of Fate. It is very very bad, but in an oh so good way. Manos is finally getting a sequel. After successfully raising the funds with a Kickstarter campaign, the movie is a go. The "plot" of the original film is hard to explain. A family ends up at a weird house populated by a pagan sex cult and there is a weird mentally challenged satyr named Torgo that gets involved. It's all very strange. No word on what is supposed to happen in the sequel. Maybe Torgo gets a job in the city as an accountant and The Master gets audited by the IRS for not paying his taxes because he believes he has a tax exempt status because of his sex cult.

All I know is that I cannot wait for this movie. Hopefully, the MST3K guy's latest incarnation RiffTrax will give it proper treatment.
