The Teletubbies Are Even Creepier With Joy Division

I remember the first time I saw the Teletubbies in the mid-90's and thinking it was the most bonkers thing I've ever seen. The British import about four creatures that live in a weird land with a baby sun god and a pet vacuum cleaner. It was completely mesmerizing. I was in college and my buddies and I would get drunk and watch it late at night. It was amazing. But, looking back on it, the show was pretty darn creepy. The Teletubbies themselves were off-putting in their cheerfulness. And that baby sun god...that was the most disturbing part to me. He laughed the way the real god laughs, at our pain. The only thing that could make it worse is if you put it in black and white and set it to Joy Division.
