Newest ‘Hobbit’ TV Spot Highlights the Power of Bilbo’s Sting (VIDEO)

The Sting. It's the sword that glows a cool blue when danger--in the form of orcs--is near. It shouldn't be something new to you. Frodo was wielding it in Lord of the Rings, but now you'll get to see the original owner using it in The Hobbit. 

It's a powerful, powerful sword. It also happens to be the center of attention in the newest spot from the movie, which you can check out above.

To commemorate the impending premier of the movie, Entertainment Weekly is also getting in on the action by debuting four special magazine covers featuring the main characters from The Hobbit.

The movie hits theaters on December 14th, so if you haven't bought your tickets in advance yet, then it's high time you did.
