Lily Aldridge for Lauren Ralph Lauren!

I came across these pictures of Lily Aldridge and thought "I remember Lily Aldridge". For a period of time she was a very marketed Victoria's Secret model who got her start doing commercial modelling for tampon companies. Something I always found interesting, but not as interesting as her half naked work for the iconic mall brand.

I guess she didn't have as much of an impact as the other models in their roster, because I didn't even realize she stopped working with the brand! But she's back, at 34, more refined in this classy campaign for Lauren Ralph Lauren who I guess is Ralph Lauren's daughter's brand.

Pretty funny of him to name her Lauren, but her name wouldn't actually be Lauren Lauren, it would be Lauren Lifshitz. Which is Ralph's real name. I wonder why he swapped Lifshitz for Lauren when launching the luxury brand!

As for Lily, it turns out her half sister was the face of Ralph Lauren in the 90s, so I guess it is a family legacy to continue.

I know the pics aren't exciting, but they are pretty, and sometimes pretty pics are good enough to promote a billion dollar brand for free. I mean she is a mom of two with King of Leon frontman, who she has been with since 2007. So this is how moms should be modelling according to me! At 34, it's ok to be classy when everyone else is out here showing their buttholes.
