Marvel is having themselves one hell of a year. First they gave us one of the best sequels in the entire MCU with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Then they delivered the first truly great Spider-Man movie with Spider-Man: Homecoming. Finally they've got Thor: Ragnarok coming in November, which is shaping up to be the first great third entry in the whole MCU.

Since no one really loves Thor or Thor: The Dark World, it seemed like a safe bet to turn the franchise over to someone who could do something truly weird and fun with it, and they seem to have found the perfect someone in New Zealand director Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows). This latest trailer, which was unveiled at SDCC this weekend, seems to indicate that the risks were worth the reward as this film continues to look like it might be one of the best entries in the entire MCU.

This new trailer's got everything: We get more details on the plot and the villainous Cate Blanchett. We get more Jeff Goldblum, which you can never have enough of—see below. We get to hear Hulk carry on a conversation, and we get an amazing stinger shot of the green giant facing off against the fiery demon Surtur, who's being voiced by the marvelous Clancy Brown. It all adds up to something that looks like a hell of a lot of fun, something that's been sorely lacking in previous Thor adventures.

But perhaps the best thing to come out of this is whatever photoshop genius created this masterpiece below. Seriously, hang this in every multiplex in the country, stat. Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3.
