Witness ‘The Power of Revenge’ With the New Live Action Prototype 2 Trailer (VIDEO)

A new 90 second trailer has been released today for Prototype 2 and it actually looks pretty damn awesome.

There's just something about live action trailers that make the game appeal so much cooler. Maybe it's the realism aspect or just the fact that everything has a slightly darker tone in live action, but this trailer definitely has me excited for some more New York bloodshed.

The game itself centers around a new protagonist seeking revenge against the deadly Alex Mercer.

As the game's all-new infected protagonist, players will experience Sgt James Heller cutting a bloody swathe through the wastelands of post-viral New York Zero. Equipped with unparalleled new shapeshifting powers,players will gradually build a vast genetic arsenal of deadly new biological weapons and abilities as they hunt, kill and consume their way toward the ultimate goal – to kill…Alex…Mercer!

So, what did you think? Pretty cool right? The commercial was actually banned from a few television stations...due to it's graphic nature I suppose.

Prototype 2 will be available April 24, 2012 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
