Why ‘Robot Combat League’ Should Have Its Metal Ass Handed to it By ‘BattleBots’

The Syfy network has a new show called Robot Combat League, which is basically like the television version of the movie Real Steel. Only without all the CGI. And without Hugh Jackman. And without all the money. So it's more like a shitty version of Real Steel on a network that nobody watches.

But we're not here to compare the show to the film because that wouldn't be fair. So, instead, we're going to compare it to another show involving fighting robots because that is fair. And that show is BattleBots. Now for the sake of this article, we've broken the two shows down into six categories: Concept, Robots, Host, Robot Expert, Competitors, and Elimination.
