The Walking Dead started this kind of annoying trend on AMC now with little half seasons broken up by an extended hiatus. This programming 'strategy' is probably why we are being forced to wait nearly a year to see how a single season of Breaking Bad will end. Luckily though the wait for the second half of season 3 of Walking Dead is finally nearing its air date.
If the first half of the season was lacking in anything...it was zombies, with the producers and writers wishing to focus more on the drama between man vs. man and from this new trailer for the show's return, it looks like that trend will continue. But with current showrunner Glen Mazzarra stepping down and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance writer (yeesh) Scott Gimple stepping in, who knows what the arc of the show will be going into season 4.
The Walking Dead returns Sunday, February 10th on AMC.
