The First Ghost In The Shell Teaser Trailers Are Here (VIDEO)

 

I'm not much into anime but I really dug Ghost in the Shell when it first came out. It tells the tale of the daring missions of Major Motoko Kusanagi. The film was controversial from the start because rather than casting an Asian-American actress to play the part they got Scarlett Johansson who may be the whitest woman in America. While I'm not going to get into the politics of that, I do see why they are angry. At any rate, the movie looks intriguing from these teasers. There are five of them and they don't tell us much. We don't know if it follows the story of the original anime or is a whole new story. All I know is that come March 31, 2017 I'm going to be in the theater to watch it.

Especially if Scar-jo is in a costume in any way similar to the one the Major wore in the original.
