LeBron James continues to make the amazing look mundane, becoming the first USA Basketball player to record an Olympic triple double, with 11 points, 12 assists and 14 rebounds as the US squad advanced to the semifinals, beating Australia 119-86.

It seems like everyone is talking about how Kobe Bryant scored 20 in the second half on the strength of his six three-pointers. Supposedly there were whispers that something must be wrong with Kobe because he came into the game averaging 9.4 points through the Olympics so far.

Maybe it's because the team is loaded and Kobe doesn't need to worry about scoring a ton of points. Kobe is a 16-year NBA vet now, not to mention number five on the NBA all-time scoring list, and probably knows he doesn't need to go out and be the man every night when he's playing with the best team the USA has assembled since the original Dream Team in 1992.

The U.S. was steady for the first three quarters, scoring 28 in each en route to taking a fourteen point lead into the fourth. Then they really turned up the heat, outscoring the Aussies by 19 to turn the game into a blowout.

The USA takes on Argentina tomorrow in the semis, a team they beat 126-97 a few days ago in pool play. Russia and Spain will play for the other spot in the gold medal game.
