Someone Does Like Terrell Owens–Sort of

There are some guys that just don't know when to go away. Terrell Owens is one of them. Statistically he will go down in history as one of the greatest wide receivers to ever play the game. He'll only be 'one of' rather than the greatest because no one wants to play with him due to his toxic attitude.

Ask him of course and he'll tell you what a great teammate he is; that the perception of him and his attitude is the media's fault and not his. After all, it was the media that broadcast him doing crunches in his drive way and bad mouthing his quarterback back when he was with the Eagles, right?

Terrell Owens Proves What We Already Know

Terrell Owens was one heck of a wide receiver when he was playing football. When he wanted to, he was one of the few players in the modern era that could literally take over a game. At times he was unstoppable, catching every thing that came on his half of the field.

For his career, he has caught 1078 passes for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns; lofty numbers to say the least. He is the only current player to score a touchdown against every NFL team. It is almost a shame that he'll go down as one of the worst teammates and now a dead beat dad to boot.

When most of were kids we all wanted to do one thing—hook up with one of the babes from Bay Watch, Kelly Kapalski (Saved by the Bell), or one of the witches from Charmed (Alyssa Milano was one; I don’t know the other ones but they were hot too).

Make that two things—we all wanted to be pro athletes too.

Pro athletes have it all; the money, the fame, the constant adoration of nation of sports fanatics. For us regular Joes the fame and adoration would be fun, but I’d bet every single one of you out there in internet land has though how nice life would be if you could just have Tom Brady/Tony Stewart/Albert Pujols/Kobe Bryant’s salary for one season.
