Superman vs Batman Movie for Real?

In what will surely be remembered for all eternity as "the week of a lot of Superman news," this unconfirmed item from Filmrot begs the question: Is there a "Superman vs Batman" movie in the works?

The rumour has been around for such a long time, that I wouldn't be surprised if it were really true. But now, to add even more fuel to the rumour comes this quote:

Frequent Flyer' claims to have met the lovely Christian Bale at Heathrow last week and dropped in this: "He's still quite bulky from the Batman part! Anyway, I said Hi, got an autograph, wished him luck with Batman (asked me if I was going to see it - like, duh) and I said I hoped he's back for Batman again. "Two more actually, and then Brandon Routh, the new Superman, and I, are doing Batman vs. Superman as a movie". Is that a scoop?".

I think the answer to that question seems to be yes.
