TV & FILM

I'm willing to bet that with all the craziness of the holiday season that The X-Files is coming back in the first week of January! Fox figures you forgot as well, which is why they released this new behind the scenes video featuring interviews with the cast and crew, and some tantalizing sneak peeks of what to expect in the new season.
Of course, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are back for the upcoming 11th season, and even though this video runs nearly five minutes, they give very few concrete things for us to expect this season. The 10-episode season will feature plenty of returning favorites like Mitch Pileggi's Skinner, William B. Davis' Cigarette Smoking Man, and most interestingly, Karin Konoval as Mrs. Peacock from the controversial original series episode "Home." Fans have been hoping we'd return to that storyline ever since it ended, so this should be a nice treat for us some twenty years later.
I have no doubt it's going to be an exciting ten episodes, and we all need to tune in so they can keep churning out these mini-seasons every two years. I know I'll be tuning in when the show returns on Wednesday January 3 on Fox.
