Melissa Benoist is Having a Superbaby

SUPERGIRL star Melissa Benoist married Vampire Diaries actor Chris Wood six months ago and as the breeders do, they have officially announced that Melissa is pregnant and they will be welcoming a baby boy this year. Melissa got her start on Ryan Murphy’s GLEE playing a girl named Marley Rose, she also starred in a few movies before landing the role of Supergirl in the CBS show where she became the first woman to lead a prime time superhero TV series since Wonder Woman back in 1979.

The star uploaded a photo of her, the baby daddy and their two dogs to announce her pregnancy, she wrote:

"A non-canine child is coming to our family very soon!!! @christophrwood has always been an old dad by nature but now he's going to be a real one."
