Matt Ralston 2015 Is The Best/Worst Campaign Video Ever

Matt Ralston is a dude who is running for the city council in West Hollywood and he made what is perhaps the worst/best campaign ad that I have ever seen. There isn't any mudslinging or political smear tactics going on, just a lot of rocking to the beat produced by a Casio 2400 keyboard on the demo mode. Matt wants to clean up West Hollywood with his long hair and rock guitar. The video itself looks like it was shot on a VHS-C camera from 1995 but what it lacks in production quality it more than makes up for in chutzpah. My favorite part is when he announces the chord changes as if to remind himself. I didn't even know West Hollywood had a city council. I just thought all decisions were made at the Velvet Fist bar over appletinis.

Still, if I lived in West Hollywood I would vote for Matt. If for nothing else than the fact that he's not afraid to take risks like driving while playing guitar or wearing his hair like that passed 1987.
