The news that Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield have confirmed their return to the Spiderman franchise in the director and lead actor roles respectively has been met with a chorus of hallelujahs by cinema fans.

The duo did a pretty good job establishing the new world of Peter Parker in this summer's The Amazing Spider-Man, and it's exciting to think where they might take the franchise.
