Kevin Smith Writing/Directing Star Wars TV Series

IESB (via Moviehole) is reporting that Kevin Smith will be helming a few episodes of the new Star Wars TV series. I wonder if that means it'll just be a show about a bunch of guys sitting around talking about how it sucks to have Vader for a boss. Shit, I'd watch that.

Kevin's involvement on the Star Wars TV series? We have been doing some more investigation and this is what we got. Kevin's possible involvement will be writing and directing at least a three episode story arch.

Also from IESB is this bit about Timothy Zahn, who wrote the "Heir to the Empire" series of Star Wars books in the 90s, and his possible involvement in the series.
