Get a Double Dose of ‘Doctor Who’ With This Hilarious Pair of Honest Trailers (VIDEO)

The modern era of the BBC's long-running sci-fi show Doctor Who kicked off with a short-lived revival starring Christopher Eccleston, that eventually grew into a trans-Atlantic phenomenon. Now on their 13th Doctor—and first female Doc—the modern era of the show is getting the Honest Trailers treatment and they're holding nothing back.

Whether you like Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, or Jodie Whittaker the best, there's plenty here for you to chuckle at like the digs at the show's—at times—lackluster special effects. I realize it's all in keeping with the quaint, homemade aesthetic the show has fostered since the very beginning, but come on. Some of those effects from even five or six years ago are super dodgy.

I can't say I'm the world's biggest Doctor Who fan. I tend to side with The Iron Sheik on all things Doctor Who...
