First Look at Ruby Rose Suited Up as Batwoman Kate Kane is Jaw Dropping

A few months back it was announced that Orange is the New Black's Ruby Rose was going to be suiting up as Batwoman in an upcoming crossover event in the CW's Arrow-verse, and today brings us our first look at the actress in character, and it's spectacular...

While not 100% comic book accurate, this is about as close as a live action version of Kate Kane could possible be to the print version. From the shockingly red hair and lips to the pure as the driven snow whiteness of her skin, it's pretty much everything fans of the character could want.

The crossover event will involve characters from Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl—but not Legends of Tomorrow—and is set to begin on Sunday December 9 with a special episode of The Flash. The three-episode arc will continue on Arrow the following night, and conclude on Tuesday December 11's episode of Supergirl.

Rumors are swirling that this may lead to a solo spin-off series for Batwoman, which sounds like a fairly promising endeavor following this awesome first look. What do you guys think?
