What is with all these delays lately?

According to Capcom's latest press release, the latest installment of the widely popular hack n' slash series has been pushed back from the fourth quarter of 2012 to Jan 15, 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America and Europe with a PC version being released 'later in 2013'. Vague, I know...sorry PC gamers. Don't shoot the messenger!

While there isn't much new info in terms of the game itself, at least we now have a solid release date...even if it is 2013. Also, DmC Devil May Cry will have a booth set up at E3 next month so there's bound to be more juicy info coming very soon.
