‘Deadpool 2’ Supposed Title and Synopsis Seem Tailor Made to Troll Fans

Fox surprised us all yesterday when it dropped the first teaser for Deadpool 2 featuring actual footage from the film—a parody teaser shot independent of the film itself debuted before Logan earlier this year. Now they seem to be trolling fans with a title and synopsis for the film, on its official website, that seem comically designed to mess with people.

If you click over to 20th Century Fox's official page for Deadpool 2, it shows that the film is officially titled The Untitled Deadpool Sequel and it has a synopsis that reads as if Wade Wilson himself wrote it...

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

So yeah, who knows if this is all an elaborate ruse designed to troll fans or... I mean, honestly that's got to be it. I don't know what else it could be. The Untitled Deadpool Sequel hits theaters on June 1, 2018.
