You've got to hand it to Disney. They're willing to spend lots of money to make lots of money, and that's no small miracle in this day and age of rampant penny pinching and spend thrifting. In a world where studios constantly cut corners, Disney has more money so they spend more money.

Their upcoming streaming service, recently rebranded as Disney+, is already going to feature limited series based around MCU characters like Scarlet Witch and Loki, as well as interesting team-ups like Falcon and Bucky, but now a heavy hitting duo from the big screen may also be making their way to Disney+.

According to That Hashtag Show, Rocket Raccoon and his buddy Groot may be gearing up for a limited series. The pair was together before the events of Guardians of the Galaxy, so it's not a stretch to imagine that this will be a prequel series. At the same time, based on how things shake out after the events of Avengers 4, it could also be a nice continuation of the stories with them we've already seen.

The major roadblock here is that both characters are completely computer generated, and both voiced by actors with multi-million dollar quotes (Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel). But as we said earlier, Disney doesn't mind spending money, and this could be a really kick ass series, provided they get the right writer and director to properly shape the piece. We'll let you know more info as soon as we know more.
